The FGF riding program offers lessons for kids beginners and advanced, and adult advanced beginners, from ages 6 to adult. Depending on weather, lessons will be held in the indoor or the outdoor arena, and sometimes out on the trail. We concentrate on pleasure riding in a non-competitive atmosphere. We have horse shows at the farm, open houses and clinics for our students to show off their skills.
With their smooth gaits, Paso Fino horses are wonderful mounts for riders of all abilities, including those with physical issues that are unable to ride horses that trot. Our lessons that are structured towards pleasure riding and/or in the show ring depending on the goals of the student. We practice riding exercises that involve controlling the horse, and riding with relaxation. All lessons are taught with an emphasis on horsemanship and safety in a well supervised and fun environment.

Part Board or Lease: Some Paso Fino horses are available for lease or part board on a first come first serve basis. A part board allows students to ride the same horse up to three days a week. This option is for experienced riders only, and riding lessons are available to upgrade your riding ability necessary for a lease. Leasing or part boarding a horse is a great way to experience horse back riding without the commitment of horse ownership. For more info see boarding and part boarding under "Services" and for availability, email firstname.lastname@example.org
